Anissa Cantin is a student at Lamar University working toward her Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy certification. She holds a bachelors degree from University Houston Clear Lake and a Masters of Education from Lamar University and over 18 years of experience in the field of education. She is passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges by creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative space for growth and healing.
Anissa brings a deep understanding of emotional resilience, and community connection to her clinical work. Her experience in education informs her holistic, values-driven approach to therapy.
Anissa is currently completing her clinical training under the supervision of LaJunta “Micki” Rios, LPC-S. She integrates systemic and evidence-based practices to support clients in addressing emotional struggles, improving relationships, and building meaningful lives.
Working under supervision, Anissa is committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered, heard, and supported on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
